Candy Brown's STEPP Research & an Attack by P.Z. Myers

Dr. Candy Brown's (et. al.) study will be published in the September 2010 issue of Southern Medical Journal: "Study of the Therapeutic Effects of Proximal Intercessory Prayer (STEPP) on Auditory and Visual Impairments in Rural Mozambique."

Last spring Candy, who is Prof. of Religious Studies at Indiana University, sent me a preliminary copy of this paper. This is the research Candy did while traveling with Heidi Baker in Mozambique that indicates hearing and visual improvement after receiving "proximal intercessory prayer."

The atheist P.Z. Myers has received a copy of this paper and criticizes it here today on his website.

I believe that Candy will be interviewed on CNN tomorrow. She is a great scholar, and I am personally excited and encouraged about the work she is doing!
