Philosophy of Religion Oral Exams: #2


Oral exams will be held: this Friday, room C-232; next Monday, room Z-272.

Students need to be able to explain the views of the following philosophers re. the "problem of evil against the existence of God":

1. Mackie's logical argument

2. Buddhism - evil is an illusion

3. Plantinga - refutation of Mackie

4. Rowe's inductive argument from evil

5. Hick's soul-making theodicy

6. Wyckstra's refutation of Rowe - CORNEA
