Letter to My Church Family - March 18, 2020

March 18, 2020

Hello Redeemer Family,

We are living in exceptionally difficult times. Few if any of us (me included) have ever experienced something like this. I told Linda, "I sometimes feel as if I am living in a science fiction movie!"

In spite of this, our God is still on the throne, and we are His people, the sheep of His pasture!

I want to encourage you to continue giving to our church's General Fund. The General Fund is for staff salaries (I don't take a salary), mortgage, utilities, the new cleaning service we just hired, insurance, and all it takes to keep the infrastructure going. You can give to the General Fund in two ways:

1) ONLINE GIVING (Which is how Linda and I now do this - yes, it is secure).  Click HERE.

2) BY CHECK - you can mail your check to the church address; Redeemer Fellowship Church, 5305 Evergreen, Monroe, MI. 48161

Thank you!

THE NEXT TWO SUNDAY MORNINGS: We have cancelled our regular Sunday morning services, and will be live streaming the service - Holly will have a worship team, we'll pray for the kids, and Tim and I will co-preach from our hearts. In a few days I will send you the links for joining us, from your home, as we go live in the sanctuary. Begins at 10:30!

We had our staff meeting this morning. God is giving us ideas of how we can connect with all of you through personal contacts and some special online events (I am working on one for next week).

Every church in America, and the world, is facing the current threat. And many churches are empowered, praying churches. Like us.

PLEASE LET ME KNOW if you have special needs during this time.

Let us pray, and when we emerge victorious it will be quite a gathering in our sanctuary!

Love,

PJ
