Until you have given up your self to Him
you will not have a real self.
Allow me to get hypothetical.
If... there is a God..., and...
If... God is a personal agent..., and
If... God is the cause of us..., and
If... God has made us in His image..., then
My identity is: child of God.
If... my identity is given to me..., and
I am not left to create my own identity..., then
I will find my meaning and purpose in life in giving myself to my Maker.
