Here's an article on my first guitar teacher, Kay Koster. I was 5 when I started lessons.
Kay's guitar studio was a few doors away from Nielsen's Music studio, where I ended up teaching guitar. Ralph Nielsen ran the studio, and his son is Rick Nielsen (Cheap Trick). How fortunate I was to be in this high-powered guitar culture!
