Real Jesus-Life Begins with Connection

Redeemer sanctuary

A.W. Tozer writes:

"Much that passes for Christianity today is the brief, bright effort of the severed branch to bring forth its fruit in its season." (Tozer, The Root of the Righteous, Kindle Locations 100-101)

Tozer speaks of non-abiding Christianity, detached-from-the-vine Christianity, severed-from-the-body Christianity. Which is not, of course, actual Christianity.

The real Jesus-life begins with connection. All else is disconnected striving.
