A Natural Law Argument Against Same-Sex Marriage

Lightning strike over our house

I'm doing a small book discussion group, beginning tomorrow, on natural law arguments against same-sex marriage. We're using The Meaning of Marriage: Family, State, Market, and Morals, edited by Princeton's Robert George and U-Chicago's Jane Bethge Elshtain.
This is a very good, deep, academic text.

Tomorrow - chapters 1 and 2.

Ch. 1 - "Sacrilege and Sacrament," by Roger Scruton.

Ch. 2 - "What About the Children? Liberal Cautions on Same-Sex Marriage, by Don Browning and Elizabeth Marquardt.

Noon. Panera Bread in Monroe.

I contacted Prof. George and asked if we could submit questions we have to him, for his response. He quickly got back to me and said he'd be delighted to do so.

Prof. George has been referred to as "this country’s most influential conservative Christian thinker."
